iStain W® is water soluble dyes with exhibit excellent water compatibility in a wide range of proportions also they tolerate with amounts of alcohols and glycols.

Application:

If Alcohol or glycol is used at formulation, it is recommended to premix the water with alcohol or glycol first, and then dilute the dye. Or you can mix the water and dye first and then slowly add the alcohol or glycol after the dye fully soluble.

Use high speed mixing equipment to prevent the dye from having any prolonged contact with high concentrations of alcohols.
 

These dyes will not tolerate non-polar solvents such as hydrocarbons at any proportion and only compatible with water based system and polar solvent.

We always recommend that the dye solutions be filtered at the time of production or before use.

All the dyes have no excellent light fastness and weather fastness; we only recommend the dye for indoor coloration (flooring, toys and interior furniture).

Weather and light fastness properties depend on:

Film thickness, more thick has better properties

Concentration of colorant, less dosage will has more poor properties
